Exterior footing settlement has caused structural movements affecting the home’s drywall, windows and doors, and flooring.
Step 1: The ground area close to the footing is excavated.
Step 2: Steel pilings are driven to refusal, dispersing the load-bearing capacity of the structure below grade.
Step 3: Hydraulic jacks are temporarily used to lift the footing to the desired height. The piling placement is then shimmed tight to the footing.
